Security/Privacy Statement

The security of your personal information is our highest priority. We are proud to take the following steps to ensure that no unauthorized person gains access to your information:

1) Nguni Imports will not sell, give, or otherwise distribute any customer information to any third party for any reason at all unless ordered to do so by a court of law.

2) Nguni Imports purges all order logs on a weekly basis; no credit card information is permanently stored online.

3) All customer orders are processed using a Thawte SSL (or Secure Sockets Layer) Digital Certificate.  Digital certificates are electronic files that act like a kind of online passport. They are issued by a trusted third party, a certificate authority (CA), which verifies the identity of the certificate's holder. They are tamper-proof and cannot be forged.  Thawte SSLs employ 128-bit encryption, the leading security protocol on the internet. 

The prefix https indicates that you are entering a secure environment.  Most web browsers will also issue a pop-up window telling you the domain is secure and asking if you want to view the digital certificate.  The certificate should be issued to the domain you are visiting and may also include the name and location of the owner.
