The Truth About Voodoo

If we had a dime for every time we heard that question, we would be filthy rich! The truth is, the superstition known as Voodoo quite simply does not exist. It is a figment of our imaginations, created by Hollywood hack writers solely for our entertainment.
More correctly, Vodun is a religion based loosely on several West African spiritual beliefs. It was born directly from western slavery and boasts a worldwide following of over 50 million.
Does Vodun involve evil spirits? Yes. Does Vodun involve GOOD spirits? Yes. Just as Christianity has its witches, so too does Vodun involve humans who perform evil deeds. Just as Christianity has its saints, so too does Vodun have its spiritual leaders.
It is not the purpose of this section to convert you to a new religion; rather, we hope to dispel any myths and promote a greater appreciation of this fascinating religion. Make your selection below:
